Job Description:

As an HR Associate, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation of the TFT Mexico branch office and act as the focal point of all sorts of communication for the Head Office


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment:

    • Collaborate closely with senior management to develop and implement an HR strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR matters such as employee relations, talent management, performance, and compensation.

    • Deliver comprehensive people services, ensuring alignment between people management and commercial strategies.

  • Recruitment and Hiring:

    • Identify and recruit qualified candidates for various roles across departments.

    • Collaborate with department managers during the interview and hiring process.

  • Payroll and General Administration:

    • Manage payroll, benefits, final amount settlement, etc.

    • Administer general day-to-day operations of the office premises and address any issues that may come up proactively

  • Employee Development and Retention:

    • Identify areas for employee improvement in collaboration with department heads.

    • Create and implement training strategies.

    • Employee Retention

  • Safety and Wellness:

    • Oversee employee safety and wellness initiatives.

  • Performance Management:

    • Facilitate periodic performance appraisals.

    • Assist with promotions within departments.

  • Contract Management:

    • Draft employee contracts before onboarding.

  • Onboarding and Integration:

    • Onboard new candidates and introduce them to the organization.

  • Policy Adherence:

    • Finalize the policy draft and contribute to it from time to time, with the best of industry knowledge

    • Ensure that the partners adhere to employment laws and regulations.

  • Equipment Coordination: 

    • Collaborate with the IT department to manage office equipment. Ensure proper allocation, maintenance, and security of tech resources


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline

  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles

  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions

  • In-depth understanding of HR principles, practices, and Mexican laws

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
